The Data-and-Insights Team (D&I for short) is a team that primarily focuses on supporting internal and external stakeholders by building features or tools that make use of our "data".

This is a vague definition, but generally, we build stuff that is largely deals with handling significant volumes of ingoing/outgoing data, data processing, ETL systems, and the majority of non-directly user facing features in Vetspire.

The D&I team also owns the majority of Vetspire's billing/accounting code, and features that immediately build upon it (financial reports, Wellness Plans, coupons, etc).

Team Structure

The D&I team is currently made up of three individual contributors:

• Rob McKinnon, UK-based (@rob-vetspire)

• Aaron Summers, TX-based (@summers-aaron)

• Bill Kontos, FL-based (@william-ko)

As well as:

These pages should be seen as additions to the wider Vetspire-Engineering team's core values, ways of working, etc, which contain ideals that the D&I team personally strive for and hold eachother accountable to.
